Software got faster to write. It did not get easier to understand.
AfterMerge is two people. We arrived at the same wall from different directions: a change is cheap to make and expensive to reason about, and the part that breaks is the part no repository's test suite owns.
I'm a software engineer building full-stack products across agentic AI, developer tooling, real-time media, computer vision, and consumer web.
Built
Shipped products end to end, from an empty schema to something people use every day.
Worked in systems where a change in one service quietly changed the behaviour of another, and the reviewer of that change could not have known.
Spent the last stretch building with language models rather than around them: retrieval, agents, and the plumbing that makes their output dependable.
Written the low-level pieces by hand when it mattered — protocols, pipelines, indexing — because knowing how something fails is what lets you build on it.
Why AfterMerge
Every codebase I have worked in had the same blind spot. A change is reviewed where it was written, and it breaks somewhere nobody opened. What kept bothering me is that the information needed to catch it already exists before the merge — nothing was reading it.
I'm a software engineer building products across AI, fintech, mobility, gaming, commerce, and consumer technology.
Built
Took products from an early idea to real users and production, with early-stage teams.
Shipped in industries where software had to survive rapid growth, changing requirements, and real operational load.
Built products from the ground up, launched them, expanded them, and handled the problems that only appear once systems and teams grow.
Worked both sides of engineering: moving fast with few resources, and holding reliability as complexity increases.
Why AfterMerge
AI changed how quickly we can build software. The next problem is making sure we can understand and trust what we're building just as quickly. AfterMerge is my attempt at that.
Build fast. Understand deeply. Ship with confidence.
