Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-18

These terms govern your use of AfterMerge (the "Service"). By creating an account, you agree to them. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

1. Eligibility

AfterMerge is a business tool intended for professional/organizational use. You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to connect the repositories and accounts you use with the Service. We do not knowingly offer the Service to, or collect data from, individuals under 18.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the security of your sign-in method (OAuth account or passkey) and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the repository code, chat content, and other material you connect to or create in the Service. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service to you.

5. Plans, limits & billing

The Service is offered under different plan tiers with associated usage limits (repositories, analysis runs, chat messages, and similar). Details are shown in your account's billing settings.

6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." Automated code analysis and AI- generated output can be incomplete or incorrect — use your own judgment before relying on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data on deletion.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, ask for your consent again.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to our Grievance Officer — see the Privacy Policy for current contact details.
